Autel MaxiScan MS300 works well.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 works well.
I used this on my 1999 VW Jetta with no issues. I was able to retrieve the error code that had caused my check engine light to go and I was able to clear the error code. If it comes back on again, at least I'll have some idea of what the general problem is before I take it to an autoshop. Definitely recommended.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Very Pleased.
This little product actually works very well. The price is excellent and it's easy to use. Way better than paying 80 bucks to to the same thing at shops.

Easy to use, does what it says, and is 20 bucks shipped. Can't complain about that. Boots quickly, pulls codes quickly, clears codes easily. I've used it on a 95 legacy (yes they were OBD2), 98 forester, 96 camry, and a 2006 civic without issue.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Great product for the right price.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Great product for the right price.
If there is a complaint the only one would be i wish it had a longer cord but that is it. The product works and works well. The manual is well written and easy to understand. Worked like a charm and even though I didn't have any DTC codes I'm sure it will be easy to use in the future. I'll be testing this again on my friends truck who does have a code.

Great product.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Cheap and easy to use.
Autozone had a similar model for twice as much. I gambled on this cheaper version and it works like a charm. There's no need to use the disc that comes with it, just look up the code in the manual or online.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Works as expected.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Works as expected.
I use this on my 98 Volvo and am able to read the codes and reset the CEL light. I cannot reset the service light, but I knew that before I bought the scanner. For $20 it is worth a buy i.m.o. for the DIY mechanic like myself.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Scan Tool.
The Autel maxiscan ms300 is a fantastic tool. It's easy to use, very inexpensive, and well built. i highly recomend this product.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Simple, easy and cheap.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Simple.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Simple.
This tool is so simple and easy to use, an ape could do it. If you have access to the internet, you can check vehicle specific codes. If all you need is a code scanner and some way to clear them this is for you. If you want live sensor data or more, you need to move on to something more powerful. Autel is also a company that makes some of the code scanners for Mac Tools. Need I say more?

Autel MaxiScan MS300 LOVE IT.
Made a selection from other Identifyers & selected proper one for us to use. My wife has a 2003 Ford Tarus station wagon. The code yellow light kept coming on!
Our son spent 30 plus years at the Norfolf, VA. Ford assembly plant working on all kinds of vehickel as a pick-up & fix it worker on the assembly & chassie line! He worked on pickup trucks & cars before his appointment as a health inspector. The differece is the year of maufacture of the vehickle!!! 2003 models requior a different than 2002 models & therefore takes a different code detector!!! Most people don't know that!!! Perhaps AMAZON & OTHERS CAN ELABORATE
on this for the customer's sake & they could order more of these to improve customer's satisfaction & results!!! T.E. THIEMAN VA, BEACH, VA.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Does the job very well. Have diagnosed and repaired 3 vehicles so far!

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Does the job very well. Have diagnosed and repaired 3 vehicles so far!
The title says it all. I bought this cheap OBDII scanner to check out what was wrong with my 1997 Subaru Legacy. The car had been having losses of power and stalling and what felt like misfires for a little while. I originally took my usual route and started swapping parts, which can get costly real quick. I replaced the spark plugs, plug wire, ignition coil, fuel pump, fuel filter and PCV valve. NO FIX!!!

After getting the scanner, I scanned, it took like 30 seconds and read the codes. I referred to the manual, then searched the code, description and model number on google. Read a couple forums and decided I needed to replace the MAF sensor and knock sensor. I found a used MAF sensor and bought it, $30 vs $300 at the store. I bought a new knock sensor, $10 vs $90 at the store. Voila! Every thing was running great on this 15 year old, 270000 mile beauty. I cleared the codes and they have been off for weeks! I then proceeded to check 2 other vehicles that were having problems and replaced what the code reader said was wrong and everything was correct.

On the Subaru, I spent about $400 on parts before I bought the scanner. Nothing helped. Paid $25 for this scanner, took 2 minutes to scan, spent ~$40 on parts and it was fixed. More than likely nothing else was wrong with the car and if I would have bought the scanner first I would have only spent about $65 instead of $465.

MONEY WELL SPENT!!

Autel MaxiScan MS300 If you Buy, You will never get a check engine light again!

Autel MaxiScan MS300 If you Buy, You will never get a check engine light again!
I had a check engine light show up on my 99 honda, i had it checked out it was a misfire #3 cylinder. I tuned it up, took the battery cables off overnight and never got the trouble code again. Hence, Ive never got to truly evaluate this exceptionally priced code reader. I'm sure I will never get to use it, only because I bought one.........maybe thats a good thing!

Autel MaxiScan MS300 GREAT TOOL.
I bought this based on all the reviews and they were right. I have 2002 audi a6 3.0L wagon, I needed something to check the status of my car once in a while. it works great...

a/c status is not supported and neither is vin status for this year on my car.... all other stuff works...

great product and cheap... threw it in my glove box for later use when I need it.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Works as Described.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Works as Described.
I bought this scanner for a 2004 Toyota Corolla. No issues connecting it and started reading error codes within 1 minute. Haven't messed with the included CD since a quick Google search will bring up most error codes. After more research it looks like it may be an easier (cheaper) fix than I thought for turning my check engine light off and getting the car to pass smog. Haven't tried turning the light off yet, but this scanner is supposed to do that too. Overall very satisfied with purchase.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Very handy and does its job.
It is small in size. Works well. I tried the DVD as well with windows-7 and it installed and worked. I tested engine code on 2001 Camry and it worked. The device itself gives some explanation of code along with number. The manual has very useful information and explains how engine codes work etc. Overall, I am satisfied with the product.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Save your money.
This scan tool works on my old 99 Honda Accord and 01 Honda Civic. I got engine light on my Accord and found it's gas cap after scan. I just went Autozone to get $7 to replace. After erasing error code, now light is gone for a month. If you go to auto repair shop to diagnostic scan, they will charge at least $80. However, they might use similar OBDII scanner too for several seconds and get same result. It can save your money, especially for small problems which you can fix yourself.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Code Reader Excellent Price, Works Well, a Must-Have.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Code Reader Excellent Price, Works Well, a Must-Have.
You simply cannot beat the price of this scanner on Amazon. A co-worker bought pretty much the same exact scanner from a large "discount" tool store and paid three times this much.

It gives you the error codes and that's pretty much all you need to look up what they mean.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Code Reader Works perfectly and easy to use.
I purchased this to check codes on my VW Jetta. The codes translate well to my maintenance manual and I've been very happy with the tool thus far.

Autel MaxiScan MS300 Code Reader Great Purchase.
Does not have all the bells and whistles of some of the higher end scanners. However for the price it does what it claims and works great for a great price. It only has two buttons so it is VERY simple to use. Comes with a comprehensive instruction booklet that has a key of all possible codes. An affordable tool for the DIYer!

Autel MS300 Great Little Tool.

Autel MS300 Great Little Tool.
When I went to a garage to get some auto service I noticed they were using this exact scan tool and charging an arm and leg to do so. Upon return home I ordered this one at a very inexpensive price. Comes complete with info about what the codes mean. If you are a back yard mechanic and would like to know what is wrong with a particular part of your vehicle and don't have the tool and codes to ascertain, then this less than $21 purchase is a must for your tool box.

Autel MS300 Simple, gets the job done.
I didn't realize how valuable this device would be after owning it for 2 years. As stated, it's simple and gets the job done. Plug into your OBD 2 reader, retrieves codes then deletes. If you want to know exactly whats wrong with your vehicle after the scanning phase than this machine isn't for you. You'll have to do a little research for your error codes online or with the disk it provides you. Like I've said earlier... Simple and gets the job done. I value it greatly!

-Mike Champion

Autel MS300 Does the job for under $25.
All I wanted was to read codes and erase codes and this scan tool works great for that. I plugged it in, followed the directions, and saw the codes with no trouble.

Autel MS300 Works Great!

Autel MS300 Works Great!
I admit that I was skeptical due to the low price, but this unit works great! Just follow the instructions in the manual. I was able to read codes on a 2000 Land Rover Discovery, and diagnose that the check engine light was due to a loose wire on a sensor. Repair cost $0. This unit is also able to RESET codes by the way.

Autel MS300 Gets the job done.
I've never used any other scanner, so I can't say how well it works in comparison with other products, but it is fantastic for the price I paid ($18 at the time). It accurately diagnosed my car and I didn't have any issues understanding it. It would be nice to have a more informative and larger screen, but I don't even know if such a scanner exists.

Autel MS300 Cool little device for the novice car enthusiast.
I bought this device to check to see if there were any codes on a used car that I have owned for sometime, which is a Toyota. It plugs right in underneath the steering wheel and it immediately gets to work. However, this is not the "advanced" one that are over a hundred dollars but it will get the job done. It can tell you the VIN #, Functioning Systems, and if there are any codes or errors from the ECU. I would recommend to someone that is shopping for a new used vehicle or someone that likes to perform routine maintenance on their vehicle.
